Erica Burt Yoga Instructor and Fitness Attendant

With a Bachelor of Science in Education and over two decades of experience as a certified yoga instructor, Erica has dedicated her life to helping others feel at home in their bodies. She is also a certified breathing and stress reduction instructor and a trained Thai massage therapist specializing in assisted stretching, giving her a well-rounded, intuitive understanding of how the body moves, recovers, and thrives.

Since relocating to North Carolina in 2016, Erica has spent the past 10 years as an OEI Fitness Instructor, inspiring clients through functional fitness rooted in real-life movement. Beyond fitness, she is a passionate outdoor adventurer, medicinal plant enthusiast, and hospitality advocate. In 2018, she and her husband David—her partner of 27 years—co-created an organic food and flower farm in Franklin, cultivating both community and connection to the land.

A fun reflection of her nature-loving spirit: Erica is also the name of a genus of more than 800 flowering plants. Fittingly, her personal motto mirrors that quiet resilience: “A plant doesn’t rush to grow—it simply stretches toward the light, one leaf at a time.”
